The ERFAN Secretariat, in collaboration with the WOAH Reference Laboratory for TSE at IZSPLV and the Istituto Superiore di Sanità , organised the training course on “Surveillance and diagnosis of animal prion diseases“.
The training, started on 12 June, is spread over three days and will end on 14 June, 2023.
The programme covers the following subjects:
- Surveillance of animal prion diseases, structured in practical and theoretical sessions
- Experiences from North African Countries on the diagnosis of animal prion diseases
The participants come from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. In detail, the following partner Institutions are involved: “Institute National De La Médecine Vétérinaire” and “Ecole Normale Supérieure d’Ouargla” from Algeria; “Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan II Rabat” from Morocco; “Ecole Nationale de Médecine Vétérinaire Sidi Thabet” from Tunisie.
