Caporale” – OIE Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Training, Epidemiology, Food Safety and Animal Welfare jointly prepared a self-assessment questionnaire within the framework of the OIE Platform on Animal Welfare for Europe for Balkan and West Eurasia countries.
ERFAN also took in charge – in collaboration with the OIE offices in Tunis and Brussels – theconsolidation of the results of the survey into a final report, aiming at improving the development of the regional strategy to control rabies in North Africa which is one of the priorities of the sub-region. This survey was launched through ERFAN Platform in August 2020 and was completed by four out of six participating countries by September 2020. These four countries made an unprecedented effort to submit data as this show their willingness to achieve tangible results in line with the projects aiming at reducing rabies by 2030
